I could tell you that I have been influenced by great artists or that I had a “calling” to do great art or that I wanted to make a grand statement about the meaning of ? None of that is true, what is true is that I love colour and texture. I love the feel of fabric, beads, and the way you can paint on a canvas and end up with something that you will love, or sometimes not so much, that’s when you start all over again. Fabric, beads, paper or acrylic paint , all give me the freedom to create and enjoy the process of making art. If my work “speaks” to you or arouses your curiosity, then I did my job as they say.
