Opening March 1st, 2012
Art Emporium is not a publicly funded gallery - it is operated by a partnership of
five local artists: Robin Baratta, Sandra England, Rose Klein, June-Anne Reid, and
Robert Reid. Members in the Boathouse Gallery pay a modest rental fee. We do not
charge commission, only a 15% handling fee on sales in the Gallery. Our mandate
is to attract a broad range of original fine art from local and regional artists.
The Boathouse Gallery provides an affordable display space for established and emerging
artists. This large, open, and well-lit space has very high ceilings and can accommodate
more than 30 visual artists. We are committed to fostering growth in the arts community
and supporting the efforts of the many talented artists in the area by providing
an affordable display space and promoting the sale of fine art.

Our regular hours of operation are listed below. These hours will be extended during local events, such as the Friday Night Art Walks (the first Friday of each month) during the summer in Port Stanley. OPEN HOLIDAYS!
We intend to play an active role in this thriving business community. Port Stanley already has an established arts community and is a popular destination for art enthusiasts. We are confident that we can contribute to that growth.
The Gift Boutique is located in a quaint space, separate from the Boathouse Gallery, and we are committed to offering a wide assortment of handcrafted items, made by artisans in the community. Items sold in the Gift Boutique will be subject to 35% commission. Our goal in the Gift Boutique is to appeal to as wide an audience as possible, so variety is key. We intend to offer everything from fine jewellery to hand-made soaps and candles.
