Claudette showed an interest in drawing at an early age but did not pursue it until much later when a group of friends decided to take painting classes for fun. A London artist and friend taught the group with watercolour as an introduction. After a few years, oils were introduced and this became Claudette’s medium of choice. As a travel agent, she had the opportunity to travel the world and take photos of interesting subjects to put to canvas. After retirement, she made Port Stanley her home and joined The Association of Port Stanley Artists. Claudette’s work has been on display at Elgin Harvest, Port Stanley Dentistry and Association of Port Stanley Artists show at the Royal Canadian Legion in Port Stanley. Her exhibit here is a wonderful opportunity to share her passion with you all.
