SHEILA SMITH

I was born in Toronto, and from the beginning of my Kindergarten years, I loved to pick up crayons and draw on what ever surfaces I found. My parents did not appreciate the new 'wall' art, but we finally came to an agreement - paper - paper - and more paper! I moved to London, Ontario with my daughter in 1980 and started working in Accounting with the University of Western Ontario. During the 29 years working there, I took every opportunity spending time on any form of art, taking workshops. I loved and worked with stained glass for over 20 years, made jewellery, did sewing, pottery, but always went back to my love of painting and drawing. Most recently I have been taking graphite pencil art and still in process of perfecting this medium. I lived in Lucan for nine years, but now reside in Belmont, Ontario as of Jan 13/20. I belong to three guilds and have art being shown at the Art Emporium in Port Stanley and in Elgin Mall "We got Creative." I hope you enjoy what you see. Thank you.
