KATHRYN FULLER
Kathryn M. was born in and grew up in Chapleau, a small town in Northern Ontarto not far from Lake Superior. In her early years she did not really develop the artistic skills that she found within her in her mid twenties. Kathryn chose the field of nursing as a career and continued in that profession for 45 years. It was during this time that she found that an artistic flair was emerging in the she loved sketching and drawing mushrooms, small plant leaves and flowers.
Katy liked passing whatever spare moments she had with crochet, needlework and designing clothes for her children. Being generous, as she was, she gave most of her creations away to friends and relatives. In moving to Southwestern Ontario her talents blossomed into designing and making fine art jewelry that is being worn by many in the United States, Europe and Australia.
The art presented here is of alcohol in media on yupo paper with enhancements in black ink on the artwork and on the surrounding mats.
You will find it whimsical in nature with everyone seeing something different in each piece. Some have already been titled but could be renamed for what you see hidden within.
Kathryn resides in Aylmer, near London, Ontario.
